African Drumming

Music, rhythm and songs from Africa

Using traditional African djembe drums, students will create sounds and music from the African continent. Every child will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture whilst experiencing a feeling of unity as part of a drum circle.

Instruments for every child in the class/session including djembes (drums) and other percussions. This incursion is a great introduction to rhythm and basic percussion techniques.
